Mallorca, España is an island renowned for its stunning beaches, rich history and impressive architectural heritage.
With its blend of seaside beauty and mountains, vibrant culture and thriving agriculture, it offers something for everyone.
After visiting last summer, we fell in love with Mallorca’s fascinating history, secluded coves, and local markets. We knew we wanted to share this extraordinary place with all our loved ones!
Our favorite places to explore in Mallorca
-
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Tramuntana Mountains are a stunning mountain range stretching along Mallorca's northwest coast.
Finca Comassema (our wedding venue) is tucked within the valley of the Tramuntana Mountains, surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains.
-
Nearly half of Mallorcas population resides in its capital, Palma, a city where history meets modern charm. Be sure to visit the Catedral-BasÃlica de Santa MarÃa, or La Seu, one of Spain’s most exquisite Gothic churches. Built on the site of a former Moorish mosque, La Seu features restoration work by Antoni Gaudi and artworks by Miquel Barceló.
-
Deià is a picturesque village nestled in the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains known for its charm and artistic heritage. Explore its cobblestone streets lined with traditional stone houses, and enjoy the stunning cliffside views of the ocean.
-
The charming town of Santanyà hosts weekly markets that showcase a vibrant selection of local produce, handmade crafts and one-of-a-kind souvenirs. These markets are the perfect place to experience Mallorca’s authentic culture and discover the work of local artisans.
-
Calo des Moro is a hidden gem tucked away on the southeastern coast of Mallorca. It’s a stunning cove with crystal-clear turquoise waters surrounded by steep cliffs. Perfect for swimming and soaking in the sun, Calo des Moro is a must-visit spot for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts.

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is the main airport in Mallorca.
For travelers from North or South America, direct flights to PMI are limited. However, for friends and family in the New York/New Jersey area, United Airlines recently introduced a non-stop flight from Newark to Palma. There are also frequent connecting flights to Palma with short layovers in cities such as London, Madrid, or Barcelona, operated by airlines like Iberia, American Airlines, and Delta. -
We recommend guests stay in Palma for the duration of the wedding weekend. We will be staying at the hotel Can Bordoy. If you choose to stay there as well, you can use code LOSAYDINS for a 5% discount. If you choose to stay elsewhere, there are plenty of hotel and holiday rental options available. Please see our hotels page for more recommendations in the area.
